Self Care

Anxiety is a combination of physical and emotional symptoms marked by feelings of uneasiness, agitation, uncertainty, nervousness, and fear. Sometimes a strong sense of threat or danger accompanies anxiety. Feelings of anxiety are sometimes prompted by a life event such as the death of someone close, a change in family life, the loss of a job, or the onset of an illness or financial problems.

The most common forms of anxiety do not last very long and improve steadily over time. If you have questions or concerns about anxiety, consult the doctor.
