Reach for the sky

 

Reach for the sky exercise is useful for the shoulder joints and latissimus dorsi muscles.
This exercise is used to stretch the shoulder joints and various muscles of the chest and back. Most importantly, it stretches latissimus dorsi, a large muscle which connects the back of each arm to the back and the sides of your chest.

Steps for doing the exercise :

  • You can do this exercise by standing up straight.
  • Now you can reach for the sky by stretching your arms above your head.
  • After this stretch your shoulders while holding for a count of 6.
  • Then, drop your arms and relax them.
  • Repeat this for 5 times.
