Chin turn

 

This exercise is good for the posterior neck muscles.

This exercise helps to stretch the muscles of the back of your neck. If tight or painful these muscles may contribute to headaches. The result of joint strain and stiffness as tight muscles stop the joints moving properly.

Steps :

  • You can do this exercise by standing.
  • First, tuck your chin in and place it on your chest.
  • Now, run your chin along your chest to your right shoulder and feel the stretch in your neck.
  • Then lift your chin and return it to the midline.
  • Repeat this for about 3 times to each side.
