Urinary Tract Infection

Reiki is one of the healing technique. It is a Japanese name, which is derived from two Japanese words. In Japanese ‘Rei’ means universal, ‘ki’ means energy or life force. So, reiki means ‘universal life force energy’. Mikao Usui is the father of this system. Every creature in this world cannot survive without energy and reiki corrects the imbalance of energy in mental, physical, and emotional level.

Reiki is also known as :
  • Usui Do - the Do refers to spiritual or philosophical path or way.
  • Usui Teate - Teate means treatment or hand-healing.
  • Usui Reiki Ryoho - Usui Reiki healing method.
  • Usui Shiki Ryoho - Usui style healing method.
  • Usui Reiho - Spiritual method.
Reiki treatment

Healing via hands is nothing but the reiki treatment. The practioner provides reiki energy to make imbalance balanced by placing his hands on patient’s body. The practioner radiates energy from his hands which transforms into love energy. The importance of “touch and care” for the patients is also emphasized in modern medicine. Also, recent studies have shown that a lovable touch and care can create more changes in the minds of patients.
For every being, energy is a vital one. When the energy is alive within us by food, breathing and positive thoughts, we live. Due to food imbalances, irregularity of thoughts and pollution from air, one is subjected to get into the prone of ailments. The one which causes ailments will also have the capacity to heal, its obvious. Therefore, if diseases is one form of energy imbalance then reiki is another form of energy which can correct this imbalance.
But, scientifically reiki cannot be proven as the senses cant understand or perceive energy. The cause can be understood from effects. Like that, Reiki cannot be perceived, but we can understand the power of energy when one gets healed. Also, there are some equipment from which one can measure the energy emitting from healers hands, so one can differentiate a healer from an ordinary man.
We are not having the power to heal ourselves or channelise the energy for healing. The energy should be channelised and should be ready to use at any time. This is called as Attunement, means empowerment, which is nothing but handing over the charge to do something. E.g. The electricity is always there in bulbs and tubes, the only thing is we have to press the switch to get lighten. Like that, attunements enables to store infinite amount of energy and ready for application in needed hours.
Reiki can also be given with any form of treatment. The person who receive this Reiki treatment remains fully clothed, and made to sit on a chair or reclines on a therapy couch, whichever is most comfortable. The only thing which is required is a desire to let oneself relax and be open to the positive effects of the Reiki healing energy.
Treatment is given mainly by means of a structured series of touch-based interventions at specific points on the body. A process which sometimes referred to as laying on of hands.
The session lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. During the session, the patient may experience heat, or become aware of tingling or pulsing sensations. This is because, the healing Reiki energy radiates from the therapist’s hands and begins to effect positive change, and restore balance, throughout the recipient’s whole being.

There are various theories which explains Reiki. But, there are no clear answer to this. All that can be said for certain is that it does.
Disease, unwellness and disharmony is believed to occur due to disruptions/inhibitions in the flow of vital life force within our being.
Studies believed that the specific radiant energy pattern called as Reiki, which emanates from the practioner’s hands assists the body to correct and re-balance the flow of our life force. This will return us to a state of wellness and generally enhancing the quality of the experience of our life.
