Leukemia

The cancer of the blood is called as the Leukemia.
It can occur at any age.
The common symptoms are unexplained fever, pallor and a tendency to bruise.
There may be enlargement of the glands, which may be yisible in the neck and groin.
The spleen and liver may also enlarge.
Several new drugs have been discovered for leukemia, the results of which in some advanced centres are good, and some people have reported a five-year remission—meaning that the disease is under complete control for that period.
However, it still remains like all cancers... a cause for pessimism.
