Indigestion

This is a common problem and may result from eating very fatty or spicy food, raw food or too much food.
It may be associated with some other infection also.
The child will have excess wind, may complain of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea.
The stools are semi-formed and undigested food can be seen in these.
Restricting food and giving only fluids for a day or two may be all that is necessary.
