Astigmatism

The defect of the eye, either the curved surface of the lens or the cornea, which is the transparent surface over the black portion of the eye is called as the astigmatism. This results in blurred vision. This condition is quite common in children, and not serious. It tends to run in families, and can be corrected with glasses.
